Slow Fashion Award: Die “nachhaltigen” Gewinner

In April 2010, the Austrian label 20den was chosen as one of the 10 finalists of the Slow Fashion Award 10. For the bag, 20den has used wax printed promotional textiles from a travel agency in Agadez/Niger. Before manufacturing the bag, 20den overprinted the African textile with a very usual European pattern that is called in German ‘footprints of a cock’. (The official translation of ‘Hahnentritt’ makes of a cock a dog, and instead of a footprint a tooth – dog-tooth check.)
